It all got a bit Messi

One of the highlights of the Barcelona trip ( see below) was going to the last game of the season of La Liga.
The championship was in the balance , with Barcelona needing to win , so it seemed most of the city was nervous.
Anyone who knows me knows I know chuff all about football but Barcelona's ' striker ', an Argie called Messi, was seriously GOOD , even I could tell. I think he may get a few ' goals ' in that world championship cup event thing next month.
Anyway the pictures tell the rest of the story:

Cool place , had fun , stayed a day later thanks to Eyjafjallajokull.

May the first took me to Palm Springs , California as a guest at the marriage of Jarrett & Andi
Both are what I would call "creative" and I don't consider many people to be so .
In life some people you come across you just click with and get where they are coming from and J&A are such a pair - also the fact that they are ten years younger than me makes them even cooler. Ah to be young.
So of course the wedding rocked - right from the personalised towel we received in checking in , the Native American who married them is a haze of smoke & eagle feathers and the fact they served Pabst Blue Ribbon after the ceremony.
Due to childcare dutiesI had to duck out somewhat early which was a shame but I heard all the guys got their tops off in the hotel bar so at least The Ace Hotel was spared a big foot sighting.

Just got back from a secondary fact finding mission to Washington.
Didn't manage to resolve HQ location thanks to inept real estate agent but did get to see some cool museums and some sunshine thanks to a quick visit to California ( see post above ).
