Bye Old Friend

Said goodbye to my Vespa PX 125 T5 today after 12 years together.
He was like a member of the family , albeit one who occasionally let you down.
It's off to a new home in Belgium and I've got my eye on something a little more powerful in Seattle......

It was in the attic at my parents house - I was "just testing out my paints" as Skeme would say.

NERD OUT BITCHES !!!!

Those of you who are aware of my webshite will know all about GOO - the most infamous fanzine of the the 90's and beyond.
I did this with Mr. X , it was fun , it was hard work , it was brain damage from all the Spray Mount - he was always the one pushing it & going for broke whilst I would find reasons not to do something.
That is the reason why he has just released a jeans label and I'm a domestic . Let's not be too down on myself , I like to think I brought some something to the metaphorical table.
Anyway , onto One Jean which my fellow Gooster has recently launched.
The idea is to make some jeans that are 'nerd out' - I'm no denim head but it's all there in a pair of jeans - japanese looms, american cotton, attention to detail , hand crafting , individualism - what more do you want ???
I will let the images tell you more , but if you want a pair get down to Dover Street Market quickfast as there is only 100 pairs and they are going fast

Seattle

Just got back from a fact finding mission to Seattle , Washington USA, where Popla industries is thinking of relocating it's WHQ.
Managed to visit Fred Meyer (almost) every day . Checked out best areas to live ( North Capitol Hill , Queen Anne & Ballard ).
Even managed to visit PDX , the old stomping ground, and hook up with friends who I haven't seen for a while.
Also got to spend some dollars on a new camera as my old one broke - maybe from now on you'll notice an improvement in my images ? - Or maybe not.
